When we visited our church in Georgia for the very first time they put us up in a hotel with adjoining rooms. The twins were about five at the time and although I had my doubts about all the kids sleeping in the one room and us in the other, I thought we would give it a try. Now, these rooms were very nice indeed. Each room came with a TV, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave oven, and two double beds. The kids were all very excited and wanted to be in their “own” room. So, we did it. My hubby and I settled in one room and the kids all in the adjoining. All was well until we had a weird smell travel through our side of the room. It smelled like something was burning. Of course, a burning smell put with four kids in a room alone does lead one to panic. I dashed into the room to find my very proud five-year-old twins roasting a red sticky rat in the microwave. Needless to say, game over!
